A 38-year-old woman is brought to ED by her husband. She was initially agitated, is now drowsy, and has GCS 13. An ECG is shown.
You note a wide-complex tachycardia. Her GCS then falls to 10 and you decide to intubate. Observations are HR 120/min, BP 95/70 mmHg, oxygen saturation 98% on a non-rebreather mask, RR 30/min and temperature 36.8 C. A 500 mL normal-saline bolus has been commenced.
