A 62-year-old woman presents with two months of persistent cough and new haemoptysis. She estimates about half a cup of blood in the last 24 hours.

She has no significant medical history and takes no regular medications. Her observations are HR 105/min, BP 95/50 mmHg, SpO2 92% on room air and RR 18/min.
