Observations: afebrile, HR 160, BP 80/60, capillary refill 4 seconds, SpO2 99% room air, RR 40.

VBG: pH 7.06, pCO2 23, pO2 47, HCO3 6, BE -22.4, Na 137, K 4.8, Cl 105, glucose 23, lactate 3.6.
