SAQ 1208 – Paediatric bath submersion resuscitation

A mother runs into your ED with her 3-year-old child, who was found in the bath. On arrival the child is unresponsive, RR 8/min, and no peripheral pulse is felt. The monitor shows sinus bradycardia with occasional sinus arrest while the airway team manages airway and breathing.
