SAQ 1980 – Adolescent lower abdominal pain and endometriosis discharge advice

A 15-year-old girl presents to your regional ED with lower abdominal pain. She is usually well, immunised and has no chronic medical conditions.

After history, examination, bloods and ultrasound, serious causes have been excluded and endometriosis is suspected. Her pain is controlled and you plan discharge with GP follow-up.
