A 75-year-old woman re-presents with left hip pain after a fall. Four days earlier she was seen in your ED overnight and discharged with a diagnosis of hip sprain. X-rays were documented as normal by the treating junior doctor, but have since been reported as demonstrating an impacted sub-capital neck-of-femur fracture.
