A 51-year-old woman returns three days after being assessed in ED following an MVA. She had a full trauma assessment by a senior registrar and was discharged with a diagnosis of foot sprain after her foot X-ray was reported as showing no fracture.

She now has ongoing foot pain and cannot weight bear. Her foot X-ray is shown below.
